Anaheim Ducks Olympians take our stage!

On Thursday, March 4th, Hilton Anaheim hosted a live taping of an exclusive Olympic edition of the, “The Element,” a bi-monthly television program that covers the happenings in and around the Honda Center. This 30-minute show was taped in front of a live studio audience inside of Mix Lounge, located in the Hilton Anaheim lobby.

The Anaheim Ducks may have taken two weeks off, but they sent eight players to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. All of the Olympians were featured on “The Element,” hosted by Skylar Cuarisma and Kent French.

The show featured:

Team Canada Gold Medalists:
Scott Niedermayer
Ryan Getzlaf
Corey Perry

Team USA Silver Medalists:
Bobby Ryan
Ryan Whitney

Team Finland Bronze Medalists:
Saku Koivu
Teemu Selanne

Team Switzerland Goaltender:

The Anaheim Ducks players combined for seven medals which was the most in the NHL (San Jose was second with five).  The seven medals also tied the most ever by an NHL team (1998 Penguins and 2002 Red Wings).

Hundreds of fans gathered in Mix Lounge to meet their local stars.
